Wildflower Grasslands is designed for the Philadelphia Please Touch Museum. The design for this play space is centered around wildflowers and their ecosystems. Transparent partitions will establish programs within the space while creating a maze-like structure for children to explore freely. The use of light and shadow created by transparent partitions mimics the movement of clouds over the sun. Wildflowers and grass will be applied to the partitions throughout the play space to provide active interest, aid the knowledge gained during learning activities, and help transport visitors to a natural scene.
